Product advantages
SITHERM 2345 is a premium 5% chromium hot work tool steel engineered for exceptional toughness and red hardness. It excels in applications such as forging dies, die-casting dies, aluminium extrusion dies, hot heading dies, and piercing and forming punches, where tools must withstand intense thermal and mechanical stress. While it was designed primarily as a hot work tool steel, it can also be used in many cold work applications that demand extreme toughness over wear resistance.
Manufacture
SITHERM 2345 is made by SIJ Metal Ravne.
