SIJ’ s corporate identity renewed and unified

In order to ensure efficient and consistent communications with the public, SIJ – Slovenian Steel Industry has renewed and unified the corporate identity of the whole SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group. To ensure successful communications for a rapidly growing steelworks group, which is gradually becoming a more significant global player in the field of specialized steel products, it is vitally important for all its members to be addressed uniformly and with a clear overall message, both at the verbal and visual level.

The new logo of the SIJ company merges elements that are already well-known – the SIJ acronym and a basic logo which has been used for ten years – and at the same time it implements adjustments to respond to the market and communications environment, where the international SIJ Group trademark is involved. A new corporate identity for the SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group, i.e. for all its member companies, also leaves enough scope to express the identity of every single company and service and sales center in Slovenia and abroad, and it simultaneously binds these into a more solid and consistent corporative whole.

By employing a new, visually refined and clear corporative identity, SIJ – Slovenian Steel Group wishes, on the one hand, to express a strong commitment to the consolidation of the whole group, while on the other, it places itself visually alongside the most successful vertically integrated steelworks groups.

Introducing the new corporate identity, the President of the Management Board of SIJ – Slovenian Steel Industry, Anton Chernykh, expressed his belief “that the new corporate identity will provide efficient communications support to other business processes which, since last year, have primarily been directed towards consolidating the Group, searching for synergy within the Group, and to building global recognition of the SIJ trademark. The latter will lead to significant results, not only in terms of recognition of the Group itself, but also for commercial communications of member companies.

SIJ – Slovenian Steel Industry´s new corporate identity has been created in cooperation with the ArnoldVuga design studio.
