Reach your sustainability targets
All SIJ Group steel is produced from recycled steel scrap in electric arc furnaces (EAF), without the use of iron ore. This results in a high recycled content and significantly lower CO₂ emissions compared to conventional blast furnace production routes.
By choosing SIJ steel, manufacturers can support their Scope 3 emissions reduction goals while maintaining the performance and quality required for demanding automotive applications.
Green² Steel
For customers with ambitious decarbonisation targets, Green² steel is produced using renewable electricity sources and delivers an additional 20–40% reduction in CO₂ emissions.
We are also developing an EPD library to provide verified sustainability data and support customer reporting requirements.
Reliable European supply
Automotive manufacturers increasingly seek to diversify supply chains and reduce sourcing risk.
With production in Europe and a strong focus on electrical and special steel, SIJ helps customers improve supply resilience while maintaining consistent quality and technical support.
