Ljubljana, 18 September 2019 – Starting today, Borut Urnaut is taking over as the new Managing Director of SIJ Metal Ravne. Andrej Gradišnik, who has held the position until now, will, according to the agreement made with the Management Board of the SIJ Group, continue his career outside of the SIJ Group.
Yesterday, the Management Board of the SIJ Group and Andrej Gradišnik, who has been the Managing Director of SIJ Metal Ravne until now, came to a consensual agreement that Mr. Gradišnik will no longer be at the helm of the second-largest steel producer of the SIJ Group. After years of successful cooperation, they estimate that this is the right choice to make and that the time for a change has come.
The Management Board of the SIJ Group is sincerely grateful to Andrej Gradišnik for his cooperation and the contribution he has made to the development of SIJ Metal Ravne, and wishes him a lot of success in his future career.
Today, Borut Urnaut, the long-standing Executive Director of Research and Quality and who will continue to head the department until his replacement can be found, is taking over as the Managing Director of SIJ Metal Ravne. Borut Urnaut knows the operations of SIJ Metal Ravne well, and over the coming days, he will become acquainted with projects and activities in all other areas, ensuring that the company SIJ Metal Ravne will continue to work as smoothly as possible.
