The Supervisory Board of SIJ d.d. names a new member of the Management Board.

As part of the 3rd correspondence meeting of the Supervisory Board of SIJ d.d. the members of the Supervisory Board unanimously appointed a new member of the Management Board of SIJ d.d. On 17 May 2017 Dmitry Bochkarev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, was named for a 5-year mandate. Bochkarev, PhD became the fourth member of the SIJ Group Management Board – along with Denis Mancevic, PhD, and Igor Malevanov, who perform the current operations as members of the Management Board in resignation, and the President of the Management Board, Andrey Zubitskiy.

Dmitry Bochkarev, PhD, is from the Russian Federation and is familiar with the operation of SIJ Group, as he led the takeover of SIJ d.d. in 2007, and was a member of the Supervisory Board from 2008 to 2010. He has held managerial positions in several companies and banks since the beginning of his career. Between 2005 and 2009 he was the Chief Financial Officer in the Russian Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), successfully leading major finance projects in the purchase or sales of companies (including SIJ d.d.). From 2010 to 2017 he continued his career path as the Director of the Directorate for Projects in OOO Investment company bank Vnesheconombank (VEB Capital), where he gained important experience in financial restructuring and optimisation of operation, liquidity management, insolvency procedures, and the establishment of an integrated management control of the companies.

He brings relevant experience to the SIJ Group, improving the operation of the company and Group in the area of operative control in the optimisation of financial operations, lean, and the efficiency of business processes.
